Intelligent Reporting

Your numbers, already read and explained. The most-tested part of the system.

This is nightly reads across every system a business already has, turned into one plain answer each morning. Proven on my own store, The Guilded Veil: eleven separate sources, one picture, one short email each morning. I've delivered it once already, for a client.

HOW IT WORKS

A dashboard nobody has to visit.

Most reporting fails the same way. Someone builds a board, everyone looks at it for a fortnight, then nobody opens it again. So the work goes the other way round here. The answer comes to you. The board is there for when you want to look behind it.

Every night, while you're asleep

01 · SIGNAL
Overnight, every system is asked the same question: what happened yesterday?
02 · DRAFT
The answers are pulled together into one picture, with anything that moved against plan flagged.
03 · YOUR GO
You read a short email over coffee and decide what, if anything, needs doing.
04 · DONE
The full board is there when you want to dig. Most mornings you won't need to.
THE PART THAT MAKES IT TRUSTWORTHY

Every number says where it came from.

A figure you can't trace is a figure you'll end up checking by hand, so you now have two jobs instead of one. That's why every number carries a label.

FEED

Pulled from a system, at a known time. Nobody typed it.

CALC

Worked out from other figures. The sum is written down and can be checked.

REF

A target or a cost you set, kept in one place, never re-entered.

Nothing is hardcoded and nothing is guessed. If a source is down, its panel says so instead of showing you yesterday's number as if it's today's. A stale figure presented confidently is worse than no figure.

Want to see the real one?

The board running on the shop is the honest version of this page. The free audit is the point where I look at your numbers instead of mine. If you go ahead, what you get is your own version of this: nightly reads across your systems, one plain email each morning, delivered as one project.
